The goal of our Restoring Health and Wellness Ministry is to provide non-invasive health screening activities for conditions such as blood pressure, colon cancer and diabetes.
We are seeking professionals who will help us to provide health and wellness classes/clinics will include:
Anger Management counseling
Death Grief and Loss Counseling,
Good Nutrition Classes
Yoga,
Tai Chi
Exercise Classes
Fitness Room
Emotional and Inner Healing Courses
We are looking to create a community health partnership with one of our local health institutions to provide these Seminars Clinics in 2021:
Telemedicine
Heart Disease Awareness
Diabetes/Blood Sugar Testing
Colon Cancer Screening
Prostrate Cancer Screening -PSA Testing
CPR Training
Blood Drive for the local blood bank
Free Blood Pressure Screenings
One of our medical assistants will offer free blood pressure checks to our members and to the public every 2nd Sunday at 11:00 a.m. as well as those in the community during our yearly Health Fair in connection with our Hope Festival.
High Blood Ranges:
Less than 120/80 – Normal
120-139/80-89 – Pre-Hypertension (at increased risk for developing high blood pressure)
140/90 or higher – HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE
