PRE-AFFILIATION PROCEDURES
The most successful church affiliations are those that stem from preexisting relationships between GHRM and prospective affiliate pastors/leaders and/or church groups. The following procedure is a recommended “Best Practices” approach to achieving the positive church affiliations:
-
Affiliates can expect open communication and interactions/conversations regarding the potential of affiliation between GHRM and key leaders of prospective affiliate churches.
-
Where no prior relationship exists between bodies, then churches should agree to a vetting period of not less than four to six months to get acquainted and potentially pursue a church affiliation relationship.
-
At the point of agreement between leaders (on both sides) to advance the exploration of affiliation, formal talks may begin with a preview of GHRM's formal Affiliation Policy and Procedures.
-
A 30 – 90 day vetting process will ensue to allow for GHRM to examine the prospective affiliate church and vice versa. At this stage, each organization will affirm their intentions to enter into an affiliation agreement on the basis of providing conditional consent to complete the Affiliation Documents (See Documentation).
-
Upon confirmation to enter into affiliation with GHRM, Inc., key church leaders from both sides; their governing boards and councils will meet (via live stream where distance is a hindrance) to formalize the church affiliation process and sign agreements.

AFFILIATE TITLES
All leaders entering into full-membership or covenant affiliation with the GHRM who possess a formal title will with respect, have their title continued. However, there may be a reassessment to those affiliates leaders who are not leaders of their local church and do not have an established relationship with GHRM to ensure due honor is given and that all titles are properly aligned with GHRM's organizational structure and to establish that we only recognize one Overseer in the Covenant Affliliation Agreement; the current Senior Pastor/Overseer of GHRM, Inc. Pastor Cheryl Jones-Ross.
GHRM does NOT charge a fee to become an Affiliate/Covenant Church. We believe that affiliate/covenant relationships are ordained of God and are not entered into for the sake of financial gain or the promotion of a personality or doctrine. However, we do encourage our affiliates to tithe into GHRM in the same way that as our members and leaders do according to the word of God. At GHRM, our tithes and offerings go to the furtherance of the gospel, the support of the ministry work but more importantly to be a blessing to the communities we serve and the churches that we cover. GHRM is rooted in outreach ministries which we believe is the heart of the great commission and compassionate work of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. No affiliate/covenant church is required to sow into GHRM all the while understanding that giving must be Spirit led.
