Greater Hope Restoration Ministries is concerned about the COVID-19 virus and its effects on the world and our local communities and the people that we serve through our ministry. Even though we may be troubled on every side, we are yet not in distress, we may be perplexed but we are NOT in despair. ( 2 Corinthians 4:8).

However we do not want to make light of this pandemic and plan to do whatever is our power to do our part to keep our congregants safe and help to cut down on the spread of the virus.

We know that God is in control and that "He works all things after the counsel of his own will": Ephesians 1:11

It is His will that we conduct business using wisdom, strategy and love for the brethren as well as obedience to those who are in authority. With that being said, we have adopted an action plan to use as precautionary measures for GHRM to follow until this crisis has come to an end.

The leadership of GHRM has decided to once again, cancel our Sunday In-Person Worship services at this time until further notice. However, we will hold our 2:15 Bible Studies via our Facebook Membership Group Page and bring the word on Sunday at 12:00 p.m. online via our Church Facebook Page.  www.facebook.com/GHRMPGH.  Along with these precautions we will also follow the personal guidelines set forth by

set forth by the World Health Organization (WHO) which are:

WASH YOUR HANDS FREQUENTLY

Regularly and thoroughly clean your hands with an alcohol-based hand rub or wash them with soap and water.

Maintain social distancing

Maintain at least 1 metre (3 feet) distance between yourself and anyone who is coughing or sneezing.

Avoid touching eyes, nose and mouth

Once contaminated, hands can transfer the virus to your eyes, nose or mouth. From there, the virus can enter your body and can make you sick.

PRACTICE RESPIRATORY HYGIENE

Make sure you, and the people around you, follow good respiratory hygiene. This means covering your mouth and nose with your bent elbow or tissue when you cough or sneeze. Then dispose of the used tissue immediately.

If you have fever, cough and difficulty breathing, seek medical care early

Stay home if you feel unwell.

If you have a fever, cough and difficulty breathing, seek medical attention and call in advance. Follow the directions of your local health authority.

We will continue our weekly food distribution programs until instructed by our local government otherwise.

Because we are food and goods distribution center as well, we will:

Limit access to our kitchen, food prep and distribution areas, to leaders and volunteers ONLY (no exceptions). To ensure that this precaution is followed the kitchen will remain locked at all times. Food will be distributed on Sunday morning, by our volunteer staff.

As always, continue to pray for the wisdom of our government officials as well as your local ministry leadership. These are very trying times, but with the help of the Lord, we will prevail.
