In 2014, our Senior Pastor, Dr. Cheryl Jones-Ross, founded Greater Hope Restoration Ministries. Since that time "GHRM" has worshipped and served the communities of Scott Township, Carnegie, Bridgeville and Mt. Lebanon from our 1700 Bower Hill Road, Pittsburgh, Pa. location. During this time we have not only grown in the Lord in many ways, we have developed into a thriving ministry that is known for our heart for the communities that we serve.
We have seen lives transformed, fed hundreds of families, impacted the lives of hundreds of children and youth, married couples and buried our loved ones. "I personally have been so blessed to pastor the type people that many other pastors can only hope to pastor over these ten years", Dr. Jones-Ross. We as a body have become stronger in Lord and in the power of His might. But we have also faced some challenges along the way, challenges that have helped us to grow and to know the Lord in many different ways and we have become better servants and stewards of God's work.
Change isn't always easy, but it is necessary for growth and maturity. We are excited for our next season of ministry and even to grow more through the challenges that it will bring. This next season will begin at our new home located at 528 East Main Street, Carnegie, Pa 15106 in early 2025. Until then, we will continue to worship at our temporary be at the Carnegie Boys and Girls Club, 630 Washington Ave. Carnegie Pa.
There is much work to be done to prepare the building for the work of the ministry which will include offering the first 24-hour childcare center in the region, expanding our afterschool and summer camp programs for teens and children and opening up our new worship and community center to the public.
As we continue our journey toward worshipping in our new home, we are grateful for the partnerships formed with the Boys and Girls Club, The United Way, The Pittsburgh Foundation, Duquesne Light, The Blessing Board, The Greater Pittsburgh Food Bank, 412 Food Rescue, The Blessing Board and so many wonderful organizations and individuals which allows us to continue to serve during this transitional time. We look forward to dedicating our new facility and celebrating with you soon,
